PRINCETON, N.J. – The Ivy League announced its 2024-25 women’s sailing all-Ivy teams and major award winners Tuesday afternoon. 
 
For the third consecutive year, Yale’s Sarah Moeder and Mia Nicolosi were voted the Crew of the Championship and Skipper of the Championship, respectively. Cornell’s coaching staff, led by Lior Lavie, was voted the Coaching Staff of the Year.
 
The first team comprised of Sophia Mulvania (Cornell), Sarah Young (Dartmouth), Cordelia Burn (Harvard), Margo Silliman (Harvard), Carmen Cowles (Yale), Ximena Escobar (Yale), Sarah Moeder (Yale) and Mia Nicolosi (Yale).  

Katharine Doble (Brown), Francesca Edmands (Brown), Savannah Young (Brown), Bridget Green (Cornell), Lilly Baker (Dartmouth), Peyton Hadfield (Harvard) and Emma Cowles (Yale) earned second team honors. 

Results for the all-Ivy teams were based on performance at the ICSA Women’s Team Race National Championship in Cranston, R.I.

Additionally, one Ivy League women's sailing student-athlete from each institution was recognized for their commitment in the classroom and on the water as members of the 2024-25 Ivy League Women's Sailing Academic All-Ivy team. Brown’s Savannah Young, Cornell’s Sophia Fogarty, Dartmouth’s Faye Benjamin, Harvard’s Cordelia Burn and Yale’s Jessi Avila-Shah were each named to the team.
