PRINCETON, N.J. – The Ivy League announced its 2023-24 women’s sailing all-Ivy teams and major award winners Monday afternoon.  
 
Yale’s Sarah Moeder and Mia Nicolosi repeated as the Crew of the Championship and Skipper of the Championship, respectively. Harvard’s Michael O’Connor was voted the Coach of the Year.
 
The first team comprised of Brianna Ross (Brown), Maddie Hawkins (Dartmouth), Yumi Yoshiyasu (Dartmouth), Sarah Burn (Harvard), Carmen Berg (Yale), Carmen Cowles (Yale) Moeder (Yale) and Nicolosi (Yale).
 
Brielle Willoughby (Brown), Sophia Mulvania (Cornell), Bridget Green (Cornell), Reese Bragg (Dartmouth), Gray Hermans (Dartmouth), Maddy Koelbel (Dartmouth), Sarah Young (Dartmouth) and Lily Bartlett, (Harvard) were voted to the second team.
 
Results for the all-Ivy teams were based on performance at the ICSA Women’s Team Race National Championship in Cambridge, Mass.

Additionally, one Ivy League women's sailing student-athlete from each institution was recognized for their commitment in the classroom and on the water as members of the 2023-24 Ivy League Women's Sailing Academic All-Ivy team. Brown’s Lily Shore, Cornell’s Amelia Neumann, Dartmouth’s Elise Donovan, Harvard’s Sarah Burn and Yale’s Catherine Cheung were each named to the team.
