NCAA Championship Bracket
PRINCETON, N.J. -- Six Ivy League teams have earned their place in the 2022 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championship. Five out of the six Ivies are ranked — No. 3 Penn, No. 4 Yale, No. 5 Princeton, No. 7 Cornell and No. 8 Brown — and will host first round games while Harvard will visit No. 3 Rutgers.
Saturday will be a quadruple header of Ivy League programs. Princeton will kick off the weekend by welcoming Boston University on Saturday at 12 p.m. Penn will immediately follow when it hosts Richmond on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. The game will be played at Penn Park in Philadelphia. Yale will face off against St. Joseph's at 5 p.m. before Brown will welcome Virginia to Providence on Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. Cornell will entertain Ohio State on Sunday in the 2:30 p.m. game. Harvard at Rutgers will close out the Ivy schedule this weekend with faceoff scheduled for 5 p.m. in Piscataway, N.J.
All six games will be televised on ESPNU.
The postseason berths come after one of the most nationally successful seasons in the storied history of Ivy League lacrosse. At one point this season, all seven Ivy League teams (Dartmouth) were included in the national polls. The six qualifying teams were also listed in the top-10 heading into the final week of the regular season. Three teams claimed a share of the Ivy League title before fourth-seeded
Penn earned the Ivy League Tournament title earlier today in Providence.
