PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Following the completion of Ivy League play on Saturday evening, Brown outright clinched the 2022 Ivy League women's soccer title.
With an undefeated conference record of 5-0-1, and a conference winning percentage based on points of 88.89%, the Bears clinched the title and earned the Ivy League’s automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament.
This marks Brown's third consecutive women’s soccer championship and 15th overall as the Bears become the first Ivy women's soccer program to three-peat since Princeton did so from 2000-02. Over the course of the last three seasons, Brown has posted an unblemished conference record of 18-0-2.
The NCAA DI Women's Soccer selection show is set to air on Monday, November 7th at 4:00 p.m ET and be streamed
here.
As teams had an unequal number of games completed this season, the Ivy League champion and the NCAA automatic qualifier was determined by conference winning percentage based on points, rather than the number of total points typically used in the league’s soccer standings.
