PRINCETON, N.J. – With its seasons already off to a successful start, Ivy League basketball will see unprecedented television exposure throughout the 2021-22 campaigns.
- Over 45 regular season games will appear on national or regional linear networks
- League enhances its national television package with ESPN to include two nationally-televised women's games
- Each men’s and women’s program will make multiple linear appearances throughout the year
- Six league regular season games will be featured in a national package
- All six Ivy Madness contests will appear on ESPN family of networks, including four on a national linear network
Included in the national package are two league women’s games — Princeton at Columbia on Jan. 7 and Penn traveling to Princeton to cap off the regular season on March 4. Ivy League women’s basketball has been a consistent top-10 conference throughout the past several years.
Ivy League squads will appear on national linear television networks at least 15 times as well as an additional 30 times on regional sports networks, including SportsNet New York, NESN and NBC Sports Philadelphia, throughout the season.
Every Ivy League basketball game in an Ivy League home venue will be available on an ESPN network, including 10 games on national linear networks. Fans with a subscription to ESPN+ will gain access to more than 200 games.
The Ivy League basketball tournaments will be held March 11 to 13 in Boston, Massachusetts. Ticket information will be released in the coming weeks.
