Cornell Men's Soccer Ranked No. 24 in United Soccer Coaches Poll

, N.J. -- For just the second time since 2013, the Cornell men's soccer team is ranked in the United Soccer Coaches poll. Following a 3-0 win over Penn on Saturday, the Big Red improved its position in the rankings to No. 24 after receiving votes in each of the previous three weeks.

The Ivy League boasts 12 13 nationally ranked teams across six different sports to date. 

With a win over Penn on Saturday, the Big Red improved to 6-1-1 for the year. It's the best start to a season for the Cornell men's soccer program since 2013 when it got off to a 6-0-2 start.
 
Cornell boasts the No. 3 scoring offense in the country at 2.88 goals per game and is third in shots on goal per game at 8.12. Leading the offensive charge is fifth-year midfielder Tyler Bagley, whose 19 points rank No. 5 nationally. Bagley's points per game of 2.38 ranks third and his eight goals rank fourth overall.
