PRINCETON, N.J. -- A trio of Ivy League programs produced men’s ice hockey postseason award winners following a vote of the League’s six head coaches.

Matthew Galajda and Dartmouth sophomore forward
Drew O’Connor shared Player of the Year honors, Harvard freshman forward
Nick Abruzzese was unanimously dubbed the Rookie of the Year and Cornell head coach
Mike Schafer was unanimously selected as the Coach of the Year.
Galajda helped Cornell to an 8-1-1 Ivy League mark, compiling a 1.30 goals against average and a .938 save percentage in League play. The Aurora, Ontario, Canada, product owns a 1.56 goals against average—second in the nation—and a national-best .862 winning percentage on the season.
O’Connor paced all Ivies with 14 points via seven goals and seven assists in League action. The Chatham, N.J., native boasts 32 points on the season with 21 goals and 11 assists. His 0.72 goals per game this season are the second-most in NCAA Division I.
Abruzzese joined O’Connor in pacing all Ivies with 14 points on six goals and eight assists in League play. The Slate Hill, N.Y., product also leads the Ivy League with 39 overall points via 13 goals and 26 assists. His 1.34 points per game this season are the most among freshmen in NCAA Division I.
Schafer earns his third-straight Ivy League Coach of the Year nod in his 25th campaign at the helm of the Big Red program. Cornell has won three-straight Ivy League titles for the first time since a string of four-straight from 2002-05 and three-straight Cleary Cups for the first time in program history. Behind an 8-1-1 mark in Ivy League play and an 18-2-2 record in ECAC Hockey, the Big Red captured their 24th Ivy League title and 11th ECAC Hockey regular-season crown.
Ivy League champion Cornell boasts a League-high three First Team All-Ivy recipients in junior forward
Morgan Barron (Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada), senior defenseman
Yanni Kaldis (Montreal, Quebec, Canada) and Galajda.
Ivy League runner-up Harvard also had multiple First Team All-Ivy selections in Abruzzese and sophomore defenseman
Jack Rathbone (West Roxbury, Mass.). Second Team pick sophomore forward Jack Drury (Winnetka, Ill.) gave the Crimson an All-Ivy trio among the two teams.
Dartmouth paced all Ivies with four All-Ivy honorees in First Teamer O’Connor and Second Teamers junior forward
Quin Foreman (Needham, Mass.), freshman defenseman
Tanner Palocsik (Aliquippa, Pa.) and senior goaltender
Adrian Clark (Toronto, Ontario, Canada).
The entire list of First Team All-Ivy recipients—Barron, O’Connor, Abruzzese, Kaldis, Rathbone and Galajda—were unanimously selected.
Brown—senior defenseman Zach Giuttari (Warwick, R.I.) and senior goaltender Gavin Nieto (Yorba Linda, Calif.)—and Yale—sophomore forward Curtis Hall (Chagrin Falls, Ohio)—were represented on the Second Team. Princeton senior forward Jackson Cressey (Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada) earned All-Ivy Honorable Mention recognition.
