PRINCETON, N.J. - Princeton junior Riccardo Fantinelli and Columbia freshman Grant Lester were voted Player and Rookie of the Year, respectively, to highlight the 2024-25 men’s golf All-Ivy honorees. 

Fantinelli, who was unanimously chosen as the Player of the Year, capped off another stellar season for the Tigers with medalist honors at the 2025 Ivy League Championship, leading Princeton to a team title. Fantinelli posted two victories on the year to go with six top-10 finishes and a 70.5 scoring average. 

Lester, a freshman out of Washington, D.C., posted eight top-10s during his rookie campaign, including three runner-up finishes. Lester lifted Columbia to a second-place finish at the Ivy League championship, carding two under-par rounds for the event. 

The duo of Fantinelli and Lester also earned first-team All-Ivy recognition, alongside Princeton’s Reed Greyserman, Columbia’s Wyatt McGovern, and Dartmouth’s Tyler Brand. Brand earned three victories on the season at the Columbia Autumn Invitational, the Columbia Spring Invitational, and the Roar-EE Invitational. Greyserman earned medalist honors at the Princeton Invitational, while McGovern added two top-five finishes.

Columbia and Princeton shared Coaching Staff of the Year honors. The Tigers, led by head coach Will Green, climbed to a top-100 ranking in Division I, claiming four team victories on the season including the 2025 Ivy League men's golf championship. The Lions, led by head coach Rich Mueller, earned one tournament win and two top-three finishes on the year and seven top-five finishes. 

In addition, seven Ivies were honored on the 2024-25 Academic All-Ivy team for their strong performance in the classroom and on the golf course. This year's honorees are Darren Pang (Columbia), Tyler Zimmer (Cornell), Eli Kimche (Dartmouth), Jeff Fang (Harvard), George Roessler (Penn), Riccardo Fantinelli (Princeton), and Blake Brantley (Yale).
