PRINCETON, N.J. – Following championship weekend at Baltusrol Golf Club, Princeton senior Riccardo Fantinelli and Dartmouth freshman Luke Harper were voted Player and Rookie of the Year, respectively, to highlight the 2025-26 Ivy League men’s golf postseason awards. In addition, Harvard, led by Kevin Rhoads, earned Coaching Staff of the Year honors.

Princeton’s Fantinelli was named Player of the Year for the third-straight season, marking four consecutive seasons earning a major award after also being named Rookie of the Year as a freshman. The No. 117-ranked player nationally posted four top-five finishes and five top-10 finishes this season, including a third-place finish at the Ivy League Men’s Golf Championship this past weekend (72-72-69—213). Fantinelli recorded a 69.6 stroke average over 23 rounds over the course of the fall and spring.

Dartmouth’s Harper turned in an impressive first collegiate season with four top-10 finishes, including his first career medalist honor at the Columbia Autumn Invitational, where he finished nine-under-par over three rounds in a field of 80 golfers. Harper capped his rookie campaign with a top-10 finish at the Ivy League Championship, finishing 8-over-par with a Saturday-low round of 2-under in challenging weather conditions. In all, Harper fiished the year with a 73.8 scoring average. 

Kevin Rhoads and the Harvard men’s golf team had a standout season, winning the final two events of the year — the Ivy League Men’s Golf Championship and the Princeton Invitational. In the fall, the Crimson also placed second at the Georgetown Intercollegiate. At the Ivy League Championship, Rhoads coached Barry Zhang to the individual title, while three Crimson golfers earned All-Ivy honors.

In addition, seven Ivies were named to the 2025-26 Academic All-Ivy Team for their strong performance in the classroom and on the course. This year’s honorees are Darren Pang (Columbia), Tyler Debusschere (Cornell), Tyler Brand (Dartmouth), Jonathan Hartono (Harvard), Hayden Adams (Penn), Riccardo Fantinelli (Princeton), and Sam Davis (Yale).
