Princeton Captures 2025 Ivy League Men's Golf Championship

SPRINGFIELD, Pa. – After two rounds of play, Princeton claimed the 2025 Ivy League Men’s Golf Championship hosted at Rolling Green Golf Club. This marked the team’s 23rd overall title and second since 2023. Round three of the championship could not be completed due to unplayable weather conditions.

Princeton’s Riccardo Fantinelli captured his second medalist honors in the last three years, last claiming the honor in 2023. For the tournament, he shot a 67 (-3) on day one and a 69 (-1) on day two for a two-day total of four-under-par, 136. Fantinelli tallied eight birdies and an eagle in the tournament.

Following two weather delays, the Tigers finished day two shooting an even-par, 280, while Columbia had a solid day on the course, shooting 282 as a team which ended the Lions at +4, moving up two spots on the team leaderboard.

In the team competition, Princeton finished the event shooting five-over-par, 559, while Columbia finished second with a 26-over-par, 576.

Harvard finished third after two rounds at 21-over-par, 581, while Cornell took fourth to finish one stroke back with a two-day score of 22-over-par, 582.

Yale finished fifth (+30, 590), Penn finished sixth (+35, 595), and Dartmouth finished seventh (+36, 596) to round out the rest of the field.

In addition to Fantinelli, four others were named to the All-Championship team after posting top-five finishes. Columbia’s Grant Lester and Harvard’s leuan Jones finished the event tied for second at two-under-par, 138, and Cornell’s Jackson Debusschere and Columbia’s Wyatt McGovern, finished the event one-under-par, 139.
