Princeton Claims Third Straight Ivy Crown

PRINCETON, N.J. - The 2025 Ivy League Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships came to a close on Saturday night inside DeNunzio Pool as the Tigers of Princeton University were named team champions for the third consecutive year.
 
The Tigers’ overall win marks the first time a program won the Ivy title in three straight seasons since Princeton did during the 2006-2008 seasons.
 
Saturday’s competition opened with Harvard’s Alexandra Bastone winning her third individual title of the week with a swim of 15:59.70 in the 1,650-Yard Freestyle, while teammate Molly Hamlin (1:53.73) won her first career Ivy title in the 200-Yard Backstroke.
 
Penn freshman Kayla Fu claimed the top spot in the 100-Yard Freestyle with a swim of 48.61, narrowly edging out Princeton’s Sabrina Johnston by a .03 margin.
 
In the 200-Yard Breaststroke, Princeton’s Dakota Tucker (2:11.53) won her second straight championship in the event and fourth individual title overall, as fellow Tiger Eleanor Sun earned her third championship of the week with a swim of 1:54.64 in the 200-Yard Butterfly.
 
Princeton’s 400-Yard Freestyle Relay quartet of Johnston, Ela Noble, Veronique Rossouw, and Sun reached the wall in 3:14.84 to cap off the week with a title.
 
In the diving portion of the Ivy’s, Princeton’s Charlotte Martinkus totaled 336.10 points in the 3-Meter Diving finale for her second championship performance of the week and fourth of her career.
