Penn's Bergstrom and Moehn Earn All-America Honors at NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships

ATLANTA — For the second-straight year, multiple Ivies claimed All-America honors as Penn's Sydney Bergstrom and Anna Moehn and Princeton's Eleanor Sun claimed Second Team honors last week at the NCAA Women's Swimming & Diving Championships.

Competing at the McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta, Georgia, Bergstrom and Moehn set the tone for the Ivy League on the first day of competition as both placed in the top-16 in the 1650-yard freestyle. Bergstrom placed 12th with a time of 16:04.94 while Moehn finished in 16th with a time of 16:08.76. Moehn's placement is an improvement on her 21st-place finish a season ago.

Sun claimed Second Team All-America honors in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 1:56.08. Sun then also narrowly missed out on another All-America honor in the 200-yard butterfly, finishing in 20th at 1:55.49.

In the team standings, Penn scored six points while Princeton ended the meet with two points.
