PRINCETON, N.J. – Penn’s
Malak Khafagy earned both major Ivy League women’s squash postseason awards following a vote of the league’s head coaches.
Khafagy was voted the Player of the Year and was a unanimous selection for Rookie of the Year. The Harvard coaching staff, led by head coach
Mike Way, was unanimously voted the Coaching Staff of the Year.
Khafagy posted an Ivy record of 5-1 playing at No. 1 for the Quakers. The Crimson posted a perfect record of 6-0 in league play to earn its ninth consecutive Ivy title.
This marks the first year that there are first and second All-Ivy teams. All seven programs were represented on the teams. There were eight unanimous first team selections.
Additionally, one Ivy League women's squash student-athlete from each institution was recognized for their commitment in the classroom and on the court as members of the 2024-25 Ivy League Women's Squash Academic All-Ivy team. Columbia's
