League-Record 10 Ivies Named NFHCA All-Americans

PRINCETON, N.J. – After a highly successful Ivy League field hockey season, the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) announced the 2025 NFHCA All-Americans.

In all, 10 Ivies were represented, the most in a season in Ivy League history. The breakdown included five on the first team, three on the second team, and two on the third team. Highlighting the group were the members of the first team – Brown’s Lucy Adams, Harvard’s Bronte-May Brough, Harvard’s Kitty Chapple, Yale’s Chiara Picciafuoco, and Princeton’s Beth Yeager.

Brough and Yeager were both named All-Americans for the fourth time in their illustrious careers, with Yeager earning first-team distinction all four of her seasons, becoming the first field hockey player in Ivy League history to accomplish the feat.

The Ivy League sent three teams to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in league history this past season, with Princeton earning the league’s automatic bid and Harvard and Yale receiving at-large bids. Princeton and Harvard, the No. 2 and 3 national seeds, respectively, reached the NCAA semifinals while Princeton advanced to the NCAA championship game. All three NCAA tournament teams, with the addition of Brown, were nationally ranked throughout the season.
