2026 Ivy League Field Hockey Preseason Poll Announced

PRINCETON, N.J. – Ivy League field hockey is back following a historic 2025 campaign that saw three teams earn NCAA Tournament berths for the first time in league history. Harvard, Princeton and Yale represented the league in the national tournament, with Harvard and Princeton advancing to the national semifinals and the Tigers ultimately finishing as the national runner-up.

With the 2026 season on the horizon, Harvard has been selected as the preseason favorite following a vote by media members. The Crimson received 10 first-place votes and totaled 121 points to claim the top spot in the 2026 Ivy League Field Hockey Preseason Poll. Princeton followed closely behind with 118 points and six first-place votes.

Yale was picked third in this year's poll with 84 points, while Cornell landed in the fourth spot with 74 points. Brown (66), Penn (53), Columbia (37) and Dartmouth (23) rounded out the poll.
