Princeton’s
Charlie Palmer had a solid first year at Princeton and was named the Ivy League Rookie of the Year.
Palmer had two top-12 finishes this season, the first in his collegiate debut as the USF Howard Intercollegiate, where he finished 10th out of 80 participants with a score of -6 (74-66-70).
Palmer also was a key piece of Princeton’s victory at the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate where he had a 12th place finish after rallying for a round of 67 in his best round of the season. At the Ivy League championship,
Palmer’s best round came in round two with an even-par 71 as Princeton finished second in the event. Finally,
Palmer had his first-ever hole-in-one in Princeton’s home invitational on Springdale Golf Club’s 13th hole. With Palmer's recognition, Princeton has won the Ivy League Rookie of the Year award four consecutive times.
In his debut season at the helm of Yale,

Under Tyburski, the Bulldogs posted six top-five finishes and three first place finishes. Yale won the 2024 Ivy League men’s golf championship at Watchung Valley Golf Club last week, recording a three-day total of 843 (286-282-275) for a score of nine-under-par, besting second-place Princeton by three strokes. Earlier on in the year, Yale won the Alex Lagowitz Memorial (1st/13 teams), Macdonald Cup (1st/12 teams) and was also second in the Roar-EE Invitational out of 13 teams.
