PRINCETON, N.J. — Midway through the month of December, Ivy League women's basketball still features multiple programs ranked highly in the NET with only a few weeks to go in non-conference play. Individually, Princeton's Ashley Chea and Brown's Gia Powell claimed this week's weekly awards. 
 
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Ashley Chea, Princeton (So., G - Los Angeles, Calif.)

• Scored a team-high 18 points in Princeton's 66-54 win over Rhode Island.
• Tallied six assists along with three rebounds and two steals.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Gia Powell, Brown (Fr., G - Edmonds, Wash.)

• Set a new career-high with 21 points in Brown's 53-50 win against Bryant.
• Led the team in minutes with 37.
• Hit four triples and shot 47% from the field.
