PRINCETON, N.J. – Brown’s Kino Lilly Jr. (player) and Princeton’s Malik Abdullahi (rookie) earned Ivy League men’s basketball weekly honors.
In addition to his strong week, Lilly surpassed JR Hobbie (2013-17) to become the program’s all-time leader in made three-point field goals. Lilly currently ranks ninth in Ivy League history with 264.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kino Lilly Jr., Brown (Sr., G – Glenn Dale, Md.)
- Averaged 23.3 points over three games, shooting 49 percent from the field, 48 percent from three-point range and 80 percent from the line
- Had 26 points against New Hampshire, shooting 8-of-13 overall and 6-of-8 from beyond the arc
- Reached the 20-point mark in all three games
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Malik Abdullahi, Princeton (Fr., F – Miami, Fla.)
- In 19.9 minutes-per-game, Malik Abdullahi averaged 9.5 points on 64.3% shooting and 3.5 rebound
- Scored 11 points on 5-for-8 shooting and had four rebounds along with one block against Loyola Chicago
- Had eight points on 4-for-6 shooting and three rebounds in the Tigers' win over Merrimack
