PRINCETON, N.J. – Columbia’s Geronimo Rubio De La Rosa (player) and Harvard’s Robert Hinton (rookie) earned the first Ivy League men’s basketball weekly awards of the season.
Rubio De La Rosa was also tabbed the
Lou Henson National Player of the Week after leading the Lions to their best start (3-0) since 2005, which included a 90-80 road win over Villanova.
Through the first week of play, five Ivies are unbeaten. Princeton and Columbia are both 3-0, while Cornell, Dartmouth and Penn are 2-0.
