QUICK HITS
Brown Head Coach Monique LeBlanc
“I’m so excited about this team and our potential and what I think we can do and what we can be. This group is super coachable … They’re hungry. There was heartbreak last year. Tears were shed. We felt very close, but we also know that we have growth to do and we know what that is. We know where we have to be better.”

Columbia Head Coach Megan Griffith
"Our league is really putting together a great product. Women’s basketball is on the rise nationally and globally… I’m excited to see what this group is going to do. I really believe that we’re going to have an exciting brand of Columbia women’s basketball that’s going to be different from last year.

Cornell Head Coach Emily Garner
“We’re really focused on two things – process and progress. Every single day we’re working really hard to build into our system and build into each other and take steps forward. It’s been an exciting transition. It’s such a phenomenal league. There’s so many phenomenal teams and obviously great coaching.”

Dartmouth Head Coach Linda Cimino
“We’re really excited about this upcoming season. Our players have been working really hard this preseason. We’re led by Victoria (Page) and Doreen (Ariik) as our senior captains. I’m really proud of the progress that we made last year and it’s carried over into this year.”

Harvard Head Coach Carrie Moore
“This season the most notable thing for me is the depth in numbers. It’s the biggest team that I’ve ever coached. We have 15 players on our roster.  The depth in talent, the depth in competitiveness, the depth in versatility, the depth in just energy and joy. I think we’re already reaping the benefits of the strength in numbers and I’m excited to see what that looks like as we progress throughout the season.”

Penn Head Coach Mike McLaughlin
“Anytime we start a season it’s just the excitement of growing and building and watching juniors become seniors and their leadership skills growing throughout the process. Watching younger players adapt to a new environment. All of that is exciting.”

Princeton Head Coach Carla Berube
“It shows the country what this basketball is like. It’s really great basketball. It’s competitive. There’s so many teams that could be playing on that national stage and competing with any Power 4 conference. It was great to have our teams in (the NCAA Tournament) last year and hopefully that keeps happening year-after-year.”

Yale Head Coach Dalila Eshe
“Part of the rebuilding process is rebuilding your culture. We feel we’re really in the spot where our culture is exactly where it needs to be and now we can focus on basketball. We’ve had a lot of really good energy in practice. We are in a fantastic spot… we’re just really excited to get started.”
