PRINCETON, N.J. – For the second consecutive week, Yale’s
Danny Wolf (player) and Harvard’s
Malik Mack (rookie) took home Ivy League men’s basketball weekly honors.
This is the sixth rookie of the week honor for Mack, which is tied for the seventh most in a season all-time in Ivy history. The Ivy record of eight is shared by Michael Jordan (Penn, 1996-97), Adam Gore (Cornell, 2005-06) and Evan Boudreaux (Dartmouth, 2015-16). Mack ranks second amongst freshmen in Division I men’s basketball in scoring with 18.7 points per game.
Cornell, Princeton and Yale each improved to 3-0 in league play. All three teams are now in the top 100 of the NCAA NET rankings: Princeton (31), Cornell (89) and Yale (96). The Tigers, which own the nation’s top overall winning percentage (93.8), and Big Red square off this Saturday at 2 p.m.

- Shot 8-of-13 from the field and 3-of-4 from the line
- Recorded a time-high four steals in addition to registering two assists

- Scored 16 points and dished out five assists in Harvard’s road win over Penn
- Shot 6-of-16 from the floor and 2-of-7 from beyond the arc
- Added four rebounds and two steals
