PRINCETON, N.J. – Brown, Cornell, Dartmouth and Harvard enter the weekend with hopes of helping their chances to secure the fourth and final Ivy Madness spot.

The top four teams in the standings will earn an Ivy Madness berth. The event, which combines the men’s and women’s league tournaments, is set to take place from March 10-12 at Jadwin Gymnasium in Princeton, N.J. FOUR TEAMS BATTLING FOR THE FOURTH SPOT
Penn, Princeton and Yale have each secured their spots to Ivy Madness. Brown, Cornell, Dartmouth and Harvard are all vying for the fourth and final spot. Brown and Cornell enter this weekend matchups tied in the standings at 6-6, while Harvard and Dartmouth are one game behind at 5-7.
FOR THOSE KEEPING SCORE
A total of 21 different Ivies are averaging double-digits in scoring. Penn’s Jordan Dingle is averaging 23.3 points per game which ranks second nationally in Division-I men’s basketball. The Valley Stream, N.Y., native named to Oscar Robertson Trophy watch list by the United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) in January. The award is presented annually to the nation’s top college men’s basketball player. Cornell ranks atop the league and fifth in the nation in scoring offense with an average of 83.3 points per tilt.
