Pierce, Mack Earn Ivy Men's Hoops Weekly Honors

PRINCETON, N.J. – After posting strong performances that led their teams to 2-0 opening weeks, Princeton’s Caden Pierce (player) and Harvard’s Malik Mack (rookie) earned the first Ivy League men’s basketball honors of the 2023-24 season.

  • Averaged 17 points and 15 rebounds in Princeton’s 2-0 week against Rutgers and Hofstra
  • Totaled a career-high 26 points and 15 boards in the win over Hofstra
  • Tallied six assists, four steals and two blocks over the course of the two games


ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Malik Mack,
 Harvard G

  • Posted 16.5 points, 5.0 assists, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game in Harvard’s 2-0 week against UMass Boston and Rice
  • Poured in 20 points and dished out eight assists in Harvard’s double-digit road win over the Owls
  • Scored 13 points with five rebounds and two assists in his collegiate debut
