Ivy League Games of the Year Bracket Set For July

PRINCETON, N.J. -- Over the next several weeks, the Ivy League will look back on another successful year, highlighting the best games of the 2021-22 academic year. 
  • 16 of the most memorable games from the 2021-22 academic year will be highlighted throughout remainder of June
  • Bracket will run throughout July to eventually crown the league's "best" Game of the Year 
  • All fan voting will take place @IvyLeague on Twitter
Beginning June 7, the league will spotlight one of the 16 most memorable games, choosing two events from each institution. At the conclusion, a 16-event bracket will be formed and fans will have the opportunity to vote on the overall Game of the Year. 

This year, 71 Ivy League teams were placed in the national rankings of their sport at some point in their competitive season, including 28 squads in the top-10 and 10 programs ranked No. 1 at any point in the regular season.

Tuesday, June 7 - Brown women's soccer defeats Oklahoma State in Providence on September 5
Wednesday, June 8 - Brown baseball tosses no-hitter vs. Holy Cross on April 5
Thursday, June 9 - Columbia women's basketball rallies from 17 down to defeat Boston College in WNIT Third Round
Friday, June 10 - Columbia football defeats No. 25 Dartmouth in front of nationally-televised audience
Monday, June 13 - No. 7 Cornell men's lacrosse defeats No. 6 Rutgers to advance to NCAA National Championship game
Tuesday, June 14 - Cornell women's lacrosse defeats Harvard in overtime to clinch Ivy League Tournament berth
Wednesday, June 15 - Dartmouth football runs past No. 16 Princeton setting up share of Ivy League title 
Thursday, June 16 - Dartmouth women's rugby wins national championship 
  Tuesday, June 21 - Harvard football defeats Yale in the 137th Playing of The Game 
  Wednesday, June 22 - Harvard field hockey defeats No. 2 Michigan to advance to NCAA Final Four  Thursday, June 23 - Penn women's track and field team wins Ivy League Outdoor Championship  Friday, June 24 - Penn baseball defeats No. 8 Texas A&M on Feb. 27 to earn three-game series win 
Monday, June 27 - No. 11 Princeton women's basketball over No. 6 Kentucky in NCAA Tournament First Round 
Tuesday, June 28 - Princeton football outlasts Harvard in 5OT Week 6 game 
Wednesday, June 29 - Yale women's ice hockey defeats Colgate in the first round of the NCAA Tournament
Thursday, June 30 - Yale men's basketball defeats Princeton 66-64 in the Ivy League Men's Basketball Tournament Championship
