PRINCETON, N.J. – Penn junior guard Jordan Dingle (Player) and Columbia freshman guard Avery Brown (Rookie) posted solid individual performances this past week as the two earned weekly men’s basketball awards from the Ivy League.
 
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jordan Dingle, Penn (Jr., G – Valley Stream, N.Y.)

• Averaged 27.5 points per game (.486 FG) this past week in two additional Big 5 games, including a 30-point performance in a win over Temple for his second 30+ point outing in his last three games.
• Hauled down an average of 6.5 rebounds while adding 5.0 assists per game and 2.5 steals per game

 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Avery Brown, Columbia (Fr., G – Beacon Falls, Conn.)

• Led Columbia, averaging 15.0 points per game on 55-percent shooting from the floor in a pair of games
• Finished with a team-high 17 points, five rebounds, and five assists against Fairleigh Dickinson to close out the week
