PRINCETON, N.J. -- Yale and Princeton both secured Saturday night sweeps of Harvard and Cornell, respectively, to earn a share of the 2022 Ivy League Volleyball titles this evening.
Both squads finished with a 13-1 league record this season. By virtue of the league's tiebreakers, Yale will be the host of next weekend's Ivy League Volleyball Tournament. The Tigers will be the No. 2 seed and will be joined in New Haven by No. 3 Brown and No. 4 Dartmouth.
It is the first title for both the Tigers and Bulldogs since 2019 when the two programs shared the Ivy League title that year as well. It is Princeton's 19th league title all-time and Yale's 12th time hoisting the trophy.
Ticket information for the 2022 Ivy League Volleyball Tournament will be released on Monday. The tournament will determine the league's automatic qualifer into the NCAA Tournament.
