LAST OF THE UNBEATENS
Penn and Princeton – both 6-0 overall and 3-0 in Ivy play – are two of the five remaining unbeaten FCS teams in the nation. A common theme between the two teams has been the strength of their defenses. Both the Quakers and the Tigers rank nationally in the top of the following defensive categories: fourth down conversion percentage defense, first down defense, rushing defense, scoring defense and total defense. Additionally, both schools are ranked in the top 25 of 24 different national FCS stats categories.
DOWN TO THE WIRE
Last weekend all three Saturday contests came down to the wire with all being decided by one possession. The game-winning play in all three contests was made with under 30 seconds remaining. Thus far, seven of the 12 league games have been decided by one possession.
NON-CONFERENCE SUCCESS
The league closed out non-conference with a collective record of 19-5 (.791). Since 2010, Ivies own a mark of 177-111 (.615) in non-conference play.
