PRINCETON, N.J. – The Ivy League announced the 2025 Football All-Ivy teams and major award winners on Tuesday afternoon.
Yale running back
Josh Pitsenberger captured the Asa S. Bushnell Cup as Ivy League Offensive Player of the Year. The senior led all Ivy League players with 1,238 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns, a total that ranks eighth in the FCS. Pitsenberger surpassed the 100-yard rushing mark in eight games, highlighted by a 173-yard performance against Brown on Nov. 8, and recorded multiple touchdowns in five contests.
Fellow Yale Bulldog
Abu Kamara was a unanimous selection for the Asa S. Bushnell Cup as Ivy League Defensive Player of the Year. The honor is the first major award of Kamara’s career following an AP Honorable Mention All-America season and recognition as a Buck Buchanan Award finalist a year ago. The junior defensive back tallied 65 total tackles, six tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks, along with eight pass breakups, two interceptions, three fumble recoveries, one forced fumble, and two defensive touchdowns.
Penn return specialist
Julien Stokes earned Special Teams Player of the Year honors. The senior from Newbury Park, Calif., was dynamic as both a kick returner and punt returner for the Quakers. Stokes averaged 27.6 yards per kick return and 22.9 yards per punt return, scoring one touchdown and posting multiple returns of 60 yards or more in just five games.
Josh Robinson of Princeton was named Rookie of the Year. The first-year wide receiver delivered an immediate impact for the Tigers with 46 receptions for 559 yards and two touchdowns, leading Princeton in both categories while averaging 56.9 receiving yards per game.
The Yale coaching staff, led by head coach
Tony Reno, was selected as the 2025 Coaching Staff of the Year after guiding the Bulldogs to an 8-2 overall record and 6-1 mark in conference play. Yale ranked among the League’s best in scoring offense, total offense, scoring defense, total defense, sacks, and fewest sacks allowed. The Bulldogs earned a share of the Ivy League title and the league’s first-ever automatic bid to the FCS playoffs.
Dartmouth led the conference with 12 total selections across the All-Ivy First and Second Teams, followed by Harvard and Penn with 10 each. Harvard topped all programs with seven First Team honorees.
