Ivy League Wraps Up June With a Celebration of Pride Month

PRINCETON, N.J -- Throughout the month of June, the Ivy League recognized Pride Month by celebrating the stories of LGBTQ+ student-athletes within the league and how they continue to make a positive impact within their teams, campuses and greater campus community.

Ivy League social media accounts shared weekly content of student-athletes sharing their story of coming out to their families, teams and friends, but also acknowledging what campus communities are doing to educate and create inclusive environments for all.

Coaches and Campus Community

To wrap up June and continue the celebration of Pride Month, the Ivy League would like to highlight athletic departments efforts to create an inclusive environment and work towards progress on each of their campuses.

The action of celebrating and sharing the pride in their story is part of the League’s continued commitment to LISTEN. LEARN. ACT.
