PRINCETON, N.J. -- Penn women’s basketball Nikola Kovacikova was selected to compete with the Slovakian women’s national team in the FIBA Women’s EuroBasket 2021 championship.
 
Kovacikova has previously competed as part of the Slovakian Senior National Team when they placed eighth at the 2018 EuroBasket and has been involved in the national team pool for several years.
 
Slovakia will compete in Group A along with Sweden, Belarus and Spain. Slovakia will tip-off against Sweden in their first game on Thursday, June 17 at 6:00 a.m. ET.  Catch the action against Belarus on Friday, June 18 at 12:00 p.m. ET and Spain on Sunday, June 20 at 3:00 p.m. ET.
