Ivy League Announces Winter Academic All-Ivy Teams

PRINCETON, N.J. – 91 Ivy League student-athletes have earned Academic All-Ivy distinction for winter sports.
 
Institutions nominated one student-athlete from each of the 13 Ivy League sponsored sports – men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s fencing, men’s and women’s ice hockey, men’s and women’s squash, men’s and women’s swimming & diving, men’s and women’s indoor track & field and wrestling – to be included on the Academic All-Ivy teams. Student-athletes must be in good academic standing to be eligible for the award.
 
Women’s Basketball

McKenna Dale, Brown (Sr., Storrs, Conn. - Business, Entrepreneurship and Organizations)
Played in all 27 games as a junior ... Ranked third in the Ivy League in points per game (17.0), second in 3-point percentage (.385), third in 3-pointers per game (2.9), first in free throw percentage (.851), and fifth in blocks per game (1.5) for conference play only.
Andrea McCormick, Columbia (Sr., Erie, Pa. - Computer Science)
Has seen action in 43 career games with one start at guard...Scored 72 career points with 35 rebounds...Played in 10 games as a junior in 2019-20... Averaged 2.2 points in 13 games as a sophomore.
Halley Miklos, Cornell (Sr., Fort Collins, Colo. - Applied Economics and Management)
Consistent presence in the starting line-up for the Big Red in 2018-19 and 2019-20. Averaged 3.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game in 2019-20, ranking fourth on the team in rebounding. Finished the 2018-19 season ranked third for the Big Red in both points (4.7) and rebounds (3.4) per game.
Anna Luce, Dartmouth (Sr., Mercer Island, Wash. – Neuroscience)
Played in 66 games during her first three years and was second on the Big Green in scoring (9.1 ppg) and third in rebounding (4.3 rpg) during her junior campaign … also the team’s most accurate 3-point shooter in 2019-20 at 38.0 percent (30-of-79) and second in blocks (17) … twice topped 20 points in a game with a high of 22 at Brown as a sophomore … shot 92.9 percent from the foul line in 2018-19, making her first 20 attempts of the season.
Tess Sussman, Harvard (Jr., Psychology - Needham, Mass.)
Started in all 22 games in 2019-20 … Ranked third on the team in FG% with .400 (64 made field goals) … Ranked second on the team in FT% with .742 (23 made free throws) … Ranked seventh on the team in scoring average with 7.7 points per game (170 points) … Ranked fourth on the team in rebounds per game with 5.2 (114 total rebounds) … Ranked third on the team in assists with 49 … Ranked second on the team in steals with 32 … Ranked third on the team in blocks with eight … Recorded one double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds, with four assists against Brown.

Tai Bibbs, Columbia (Sr., Chicago, Ill. – Psychology)
Has seen action in 71 career games with 46 starts...In career, averaged 4.8 points per game, 2.3 rebounds per game and 0.6 assists per game...Hit 45 career 3-point field goals... As a junior, started all 30 games, averaged 6.5 points and 3.4 rebounds per game with eight double figure games...Played in 28 games with 16 starts as a sophomore....Averaged 3.6 points and 1.4 rebounds per game as a sophomore...Played in 13 games off the bench as a first-year.
Jimmy Boeheim, Cornell (Sr., Fayetteville, N.Y.  - Applied Economics & Management)
Ranked in top 10 in scoring (fifth) and rebounding (10th) in 2019-20. Named preseason All-Ivy in 2020-21 by nearly every major publication. Had 18 double figure scoring games as a junior, averaging 16.7 points nad 5.6 rebounds per game. Scored a career-high 31 points in the Big Red's 2018-19 CIT appearance at Robert Morris.
Aaryn Rai, Dartmouth (Sr., Markham, Ontario - Neuroscience)
Started all 29 games as a junior and ranked sixth in the Ivy League in rebounding (6.4 per game) … averaged 11.2 points a game while reaching double digits in 20 of the 29 games … received the team’s Rudy LaRusso Award as its most improved … hit the game-winning shot against Columbia in the final second on Valentine’s Day 2020 … five career double-doubles …tallied a career-high 21 points with 12 rebounds against Princeton, and a week later posted a career-best 14 rebounds as a sophomore.
Rio Haskett, Harvard (Sr., Psychology - Richmond, Va.)
Appeared in all 92 games since arriving on campus, starting 16 times, including a career-high six games in each of his last two seasons… Helped Harvard to a pair of Ivy League championships and postseason appearances (2018, 2019)… Guided the Crimson to 58 victories over three seasons… Averaged 4.1 points over his career, including a career-high 6.2 points in a personal-best 17.5 minutes as a junior… Scored in double figures nine times in his career with a career-high seven coming in 2018-19.

Madeleine Nishimura, Cornell (So., Walnut Creek, Calif. - Biometry & Statistics)
As a freshman was named an honorable mention USFCA All-American following the cancellation of the NCAA Championship. Qualified for the NCAA Championships following a 5th place finish at the NCAA Northeast Regional event, where she went 17-6 with a +42 touch differential.

Finished the season with a 9-12 overall record in 2019-20...Went 2-0 at the No. 2 spot and 4-4 at the No. 6 position...As a first-year, went 13-8.
Nikhil Arjunan Iyer, Cornell (Jr., Cincinnati, Ohio  - Applied Economics and Management)
Jumped five positions in the order between freshman and sophomore seasons to earn team's 2019-20 Most Improved Player award ... Helped team to upset victory of top-seeded Dartmouth at 2020 Hoehn Cup ... Four-time US Squash Scholar Athlete.
Reg Anderson, Dartmouth (Sr., Brookline, Mass. - Government)
Won 19 games in first three seasons, playing in the top three positions during his junior campaign … earned victories over four opponents on teams ranked in the top 10 as a sophomore … helped Dartmouth finish fifth in the nation as a rookie in 2017-18.

Mary Pruden, Columbia (Jr., Raleigh, N.C. – Mathematics)
Swims the IM, Backstroke and Distance events...Two-time Ivy League Championships finalist in the 400 IM...Won the Ivy League consolation final in the 200 back with a school-record time of 1:57.52... Career-best times include a 4:55.88 in the 500 freestyle, 10:01.34 in the 1000 freestyle, 1:57.52 in the 200 backstroke, 2:03.46 in the 200 butterfly, and 4:17.37 in the 400 IM.
Maegan Rudolph, Cornell (Sr., Greer, S.C.  - Biomedical Engineering)
Holds Cornell's school record in the 200 butterfly (1:59.70). Only Cornell swimmer to break 2:00 in the event. Member of the school record-holding 400 medley relay team. Also holds Cornell all-time top-10 marks in the 100 butterfly, 100 freestyle, 400 freestyle relay, and 800 freestyle relay.
Katherine Cane, Dartmouth (Sr., Orinda, Calif. - Mathematics and Economics)
Competed in the 50 free, 100 fly and 100 free at the 2020 Ivy League Championship, swimming personal best times in all three events …  At the end of the season, she was given the team’s Lutkus Award for being an outstanding and consistent performer and for maintaining a high academic standing.
Felicia Pasadyn, Harvard (So., Integrative Biology - Hinckley, Ohio)
Qualified for the 2020 U.S Olympic Trials in five events during the summer of 2019 – 200 backstroke, 200 IM, 400 IM, 100 backstroke and 200 freestyle…Earned Ivy League Championship titles in seven events - 200 backstroke, 200 IM, 400 IM, 200 medley relay, 400 medley relay, 800 free relay and 400 free relay, while also setting seven team records, four Ivy League Meet records, and six pool records…Awarded Ivy League Championship “High Point Swimmer of the Meet”…Qualified for six events at the NCAA Championships in 200 backstroke, 200 IM, 400 IM, 400 medley relay, 800 free relay (A cut) and 400 free relay (A cut)…Named Harvard Swimming “Outstanding Freshman”…Set pool records at Dartmouth in the 200 butterfly, 200 medley relay and 400 free relay…Set pool records at Penn in the 500 freestyle and 200 medley relay…Set pool record at Columbia in 200 backstroke.
