80 Student-Athletes Named Spring Academic All-Ivy

PRINCETON, N.J. -- Following a shortened spring season due to COVID-19, the Ivy League released its list of student-athletes selected for the spring edition of the 2019-20 Academic All-Ivy. Prior to the cancelation of the remainder of the spring seasons, 15 teams had earned a place in national polls. 
 
The 80 men and women were starters or key reserves on an officially recognized varsity team with 3.0 or better cumulative grade point averages. Each institution nominated eligible student-athletes.
 
BROWN
Noah Korotzer, Brown (Sr., Track and Field – Palso Verdes, California)
Scored for Brown in the 100m at the Ivy League Championships in 2019 ... His time in the 100m was the 10th best performance all-time in program history.
 
Joe Lomuscio, Baseball (Jr., Economics – West Roxbruy, Mass.)
First Team All-Ivy, CoSIDA Academic All-American and CoSIDA Academic All-District in 2019 … Led the Bears in batting average (.339), hits (59), runs (32) and at-bats (174) last season.
 
Luke McCaleb, Lacrosse (Sr., Business, Entrepreneurship and Organizations – Chevy Chase, Md.)
Two-time Academic All-Ivy ... His 170 career points (98G, 72A) are eighth all-time at Brown ... Tied for team lead in goals (12) and was second in points (17) in 2020.

Kieran Shaw, Baseball (Sr., History & Literature - Los Gatos, Calif.)
3.538 GPA, the Ivy League record holder for saves in a season (13 in 2018-19), finished his career with 21 saves, good for second in program history, struck out 83 batters in his career, fanned 28 opponents in only 25 innings as a junior and helped Harvard win the Ivy League and advance to the NCAA Regionals for the first time since 2005. 
 
Jake Suddleson, Baseball (Sr., History - Pacific Palisades, Calif.)
3.462 GPA, Ivy League Plyer of the Year (2019), All-Ivy First Team (2019), ABCA/Rawlings Third Team All-America (2019), Finished his career hitting .309 with 125 hits, 25 2B, 20 HR and 90 RBI, set the program’s single-season RBI record with 53 in 2019, led the team in average (.389) hits (7) and runs (4) in only five games as a senior and was a key contributor on Harvard’s 2019 Ivy League championship and NCAA Regional team.
