PRINCETON, N.J. -- The final weekend of the regular season is here with the 2020 Ivy League Championship up for grabs between the league-leaders, while three others fight for the final spot in next weekend’s Ivy League Men’s Basketball Tournament.

Yale, Princeton and Harvard secured berths to the 2020 Ivy League Men’s Basketball Tournament presented by TIAA. Seeding for the tournament will be determined this weekend.

Listen to this week's podcast episode of "Road to Ivy Madness," as the trio breaks down last weekend’s tournament clinching performances and the fight for the remaining berth with two games to go.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR
  • HUNT FOR THE TITLE – Three Ivy League teams remain in the hunt for the 2020 Ivy League Championship. Yale owns the inside track to its fourth Ivy League title in the past six seasons with a 10-2 record. The Bulldogs are one game ahead of Harvard and will tip off at Lavietes on Saturday. The Crimson will look to claim its third consecutive title and eighth championship in program history with a weekend sweep or a win against Yale in conjunction with a Yale lose to Dartmouth the night earlier.
  • TIGER TAIL - Princeton, looking for its second title in four seasons, needs a little help - If Yale loses both road games this weekend, Harvard splits its two final games and Princeton sweeps, the three programs will share the 2020 title with matching 10-4 records.
  • HERE COME THE QUAKERS – Penn’s hopes of qualifying for its fourth straight Ivy League Tournament remain alive after defeating Brown, 73-68, in a key matchup last weekend in Providence. The easiest path to Ivy Madness for the Quakers is to sweep the final home weekend and end the season at 8-6 where the Quakers hold the majority of the tiebreakers.
  • PAINT THE WEEKEND BROWN – Brown looks to qualify for its first-ever Ivy League Tournament as the regular season wraps up with the Bears travel to Harvard and Dartmouth. The easiest path for the Bears is a weekend sweep of Dartmouth and Yale coupled with a Penn loss.
  • ROLL PINE – Dartmouth remains very much alive in the hunt for the fourth and final spot to the 2020 Ivy League Men’s Basketball Tournament as the Big Green have won four of its last five games, including a crucial win against Penn two weeks ago, to sit one game out of fourth heading into the final weekend. In order to clinch the final spot, the Big Green will need to sweep its final weekend against league-leader Yale and fourth-place contender Brown, in addition to getting some help from its League foes. If Dartmouth and Brown end the regular season in a two-way tie for 7-7, the Big Green qualifies for the tournament by virtue of a better record against Yale. If Dartmouth ends in a two-way tie or a three-way tie with Penn, the Big Green will lose out in tiebreakers due to Penn’s 1-1 record against Harvard.
  • IVY MADNESS PRESENTED BY TIAA - Tickets are on sale to the 2020 Ivy League Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments, played March 13-15 at Lavietes Pavilion in Boston. Full information is available at IvyMadness.com.
