PRINCETON, N.J. – Dartmouth’s Chris Knight and Penn’s Max Martz claimed this week’s Ivy League weekly awards. Knight was named Player of the Week, while Martz earned Rookie of the Week.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Chris Knight, Dartmouth (Jr., F – Madison, Wis.)
- Led Dartmouth to its first weekend sweep on the road in five years
- Averaged a double-double with 18.5 points and 11.5 rebounds
- Shot better than 70 percent from the floor, while dishing out 5.5 assists
- Dropped 17 points on 6-of-11 field goals at Cornell and hauled in 13 rebounds for the second straight game
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Max Martz, Penn (Fr., F – Upper Arlington, Ohio)
- One of just two Penn players to score in double figures in both games over the weekend
- Had 12 points and five rebounds on Friday at Yale
- Followed up with 13 points in the second half and seven rebounds in Saturday’s must-win game at Brown.
- Reached double figures in scoring in seven of Penn’s last eight games.
