PRINCETON, N.J. – After leading their teams to weekend sweeps in a critical weekend of Ivy League back-to-backs, Dartmouth junior forward Chris Knight earned Player of the Week while Harvard freshman forward Chris Ledlum picks up his fifth Rookie of the Week honor.
Harvard completed the weekend sweep in thrilling fashion, taking down Columbia in double overtime. Dartmouth registered its first weekend sweep in five seasons. Yale and Princeton are tied for first place with matching 6-2 records as both squads went 1-1. Penn and Brown are one game back in a tie for third place.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Chris Knight, Dartmouth (Jr., F – Madison, Wis.)
- Led Dartmouth to a weekend sweep – the first for the Big Green in five seasons
- Shots 85.6 percent overall while averaging 20.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per games
- Netted a season-high 23 points on 10-of-11 from the floor to help the Big Green rally for a last-second win over the Lions, 65-63
- Knocked down 8-of-10 field goals in recording his third double-dobule of the season in Dartmouth’s largest margin of victory in a League game in 21 years, 75-53.
