“The world of sports serves as a venue for people with diverse perspectives to come together under the umbrella of shared common experiences. This connection opens channels of communication and fosters a collective spirit that inspires and supports the community. Through my Independent Study on the power of athletics as an inclusion initiative, I reached out to many people working in the business of athletics, many of whom I am still in contact with today. These people have become my role models as I pursue a career in sports after college.”
