PRINCETON
, N.J. -- Harvard will travel to Dartmouth to open Ivy League play, while Penn will look to even the series when Princeton travels to The Palestra in what will be the teams’ first back-to-back regular season meetings since 1915. All three of Saturday’s Ivy League men's basketball contests will be available on ESPN+.

The Ivy League currently sits as the 12th strongest conference (out of 32) in the country according to the most recent KenPom conference RPI rankings. Both Penn (then No. 16 Villanova) and Princeton (then No. 17 Arizona State) tout wins over nationally-ranked teams this season.

Listen to this week's podcast episode of "Road to Ivy Madness," as the team recap another classic doubleheader from Penn and Princeton Jan. 5, look towards the two upcoming men's games (Penn-Princeton, Harvard-Dartmouth) on Saturday and recap the Ivy League's national attention-grabbing non-conference success on both the men's and women's sides.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR
  • WATCH LIST – The Ivy League is one of three Division I mid-major conferences to play five standouts listed on the 2018-19 Midseason Watch List for the Lou Henson Award, which honors the top mid-major player in Division I. Brown’s Desmond Cambridge, Cornell’s Matt Morgan, Penn’s AJ Brodeur, Princeton’s Devin Cannady and Yale’s Miye Oni were among the 50 Division I players named to the list.
  • RIVALRY RENEWED – Penn will look to even the series on Saturday when Princeton travels to The Palestra in what will be the teams’ first back-to-back regular season meetings since 1915. Although the Quakers are 1-3 after previous losses, Penn has been impressive when playing on Macquarie Court at The Palestra owning a 5-1 home record with wins over Miami and defending national champion Villanova. Princeton will look for its second sweep of the Quakers over the past three seasons.
  • DOWNTOWN IN HANOVER - Dartmouth will host reigning Ivy League champion Harvard to open league play and three-point shooting will most likely play a role as the Big Green has emerged as one of the top three-point shooting teams in the country. Dartmouth is shooting 40.2 percent from behind the arc, which ranks ninth in the country, while also limiting opponents’ opportunity to 31.1 percent from deep. Dartmouth has hit double-figure triples in nine games and is 5-2 when outshooting its foes from deep. Harvard, which ranks in the bottom half of the league in three-point field goal percentage and three-point field goal defense, is 5-3 when opponents hit more than 30 percent of their three-point attempts and 4-2 when limited to less than 35 percent.
  • FINAL TUNEUP - Columbia, coming off its first road win at Binghamton to snap an 18-game road losing streak that dated back to last season, will close out its non-conference slate against Elmira College (Division III) on Saturday and all eyes will be on Quinton Adlesh. Adlesh, one of the League’s top three-point shooter, is converting on 49.1 percent of his attempts from deep. The senior enters Saturday’s game tied for seventh on Columbia’s all-time 3-point field goal list (150). He is just away triples away from climbing into sixth. Adlesh has hit five or more three points in two games this season.
  • LESSON LEARNED – Two of the League’s most impactful freshmen this season - Penn’s Michael Wang and Princeton’s Jaelin Llewellyn - got their first taste of Ivy League basketball last weekend and now a week later, these two rookies will look to make an impact in the rematch. In non-conference, Wang averaged 11.2 points and 3.8 rebounds for the Quakers while Llewellyn was averaging 12.0 for the Tigers. Combined, this duo went 3-of-17 for nine points in their Ivy League debuts.
