“Road to Ivy Madness” Podcast to Air Jan. 2

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Ivy League will launch a weekly podcast focused on the Ivy League men’s and women’s basketball conference season starting on Wednesday, Jan. 2.  

“Road to Ivy Madness” will be hosted by Bill Spaulding with analysis from former Ivy League basketball alums Megan Perry (Cornell ’08) and Noah Savage (Princeton ’08). The show will total 12 episodes throughout the conference season covering the top storylines from the League.

Spaulding, Perry and Savage will culminate the year by hosting “Live from Ivy Madness” from New Haven, Conn. For the third consecutive year, the trio will be live from each team’s open shootaround inside John J. Lee Amphitheater breaking down the upcoming semifinals and sitting down with each head coach and select student-athletes from each squad.

Spaulding works as a play-by-play broadcaster for NBC, The Ivy League, USA Track and Field, The ACC, and more. His credentials include play-by-play roles for NBC's coverage of the 2016 Rio Olympics and 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics. Throughout his career, Spaulding has experience calling 26 different sports. His work with the Ivy League has included five years broadcasting Ivy League basketball games, Ivy Madness, Ivy League football, Ivy League Heptagonal Track and Field Championships and more.
 
Perry is a 2008 graduate and former women’s basketball standout at Cornell. She is a former executive at the WNBA and has been a featured voice on ESPN, CBS Sports Network, ACC Network and beIN Sports. Perry captained the 2008 Cornell team that won the Ivy League title.
 
Savage graduated from Princeton in 2008 and is the color commentator for numerous ESPN, NBC Sports Philadelphia and Fios1 Sports broadcasts. He was named All-Ivy Second-Team in 2008 while also serving as team captain for the Tigers. Savage resides in New York City where he is the co-host of the “Old School, New School” podcast.
