Career High Performances Lead to Men's Basketball Weekly Awards

PRINCETON, N.J. – Dartmouth’s Brendan Barry led the Big Green to three straight wins to earn Ivy League Player of the Week, while Princeton freshman Jaelin Llewellyn registered a career-high 22 points to claim Rookie of the Week honors.

5-of-8 Ivies own a .500-or-better record – led by reigning Ivy League champion Penn (9-2) and Brown (7-4). The Ivy League, currently has its highest KenPom conference rating of the KenPom era dating back to the 2001-02 season, is 45-35 (.563) against non-conference opposition.

This week's 12-game slate gets underway Monday as Cornell welcomes Longwood to Newman Arena. The Big Red is coming off a tough 77-74 loss at Niagara, as the Purple Eagles hit a 3-pointer after an offensive rebound tap-out with 1.1 seconds to play. Princeton, coming off an 85-81 win over Iona, will travel to No. 2 Duke to take on the Blue Devils at Cameron Indoor Stadium on Tuesday. The game will be broadcast on ESPN2 with Mike Couzens and Cory Alexander on the call.
