Horsted, Miller & Roussos Claim Final Football Weekly Honors

PRINCETON, N.J. -- Princeton (10-0, 7-0 Ivy) clinched its first outright Ivy League title since 1995 and its first undefeated season since 1964 Saturday. The unbeaten mark is just the 13th unblemished season in Ivy League lore. 

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jesper Horsted, Princeton (Sr., WR – Shoreview, Minn.)
  • Accounted for four touchdowns in Princeton’s 42-14 win over Penn to secure its first outright Ivy League title since 1995
  • Caught eight passes for 165 receiving yards and three touchdowns
  • Added a fourth touchdown on the ground via a 19-yard rush 
  • Concluded his Princeton career with 196 catches and 2,703 receiving yards—the second-most in program history
  • Helped Princeton to the second undefeated season in program history (1964) and 13th in Ivy League lore

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK 
Zach Miller, Harvard (Sr., S – Houston, Texas) 
  • Saved the first multi-interception game of his career for his final collegiate appearance
  • Had a pair of interceptions in Harvard’s 45-27 victory over Yale in The Game 
  • Registered five tackles in the contest
  • Tallied three passes defended with a pass breakup and a pair of interceptions
  • Assisted Harvard in snapping Yale’s two-game winning streak in The Game
 
SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER & ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Mike Roussos, Columbia (Fr., WR – New Port Richey, Fla.)
  • Became the first Columbia player to return a punt and a kickoff for a touchdown in the same game 
  • Tallied a career-high 206 all-purpose yards in Columbia’s 24-21 win over Cornell in the Empire State Bowl
  • Had a 91-yard punt return for a touchdown, tying the school record for the longest punt return and setting a new high-water mark for Lawrence A. Wien Stadium 
  • Posted an 87-yard kickoff return for the game-winning touchdown with 45 seconds to play
  • Added a 14-yard reception on offense
