PRINCETON, N.J. -- Yale (10-4, 4-1 Ivy), Princeton (11-5, 4-1 Ivy) and Cornell (9-6, 4-1 Ivy) top the Ivy League table through five League matches. Harvard and Yale posted 2-0 weekends to move up in the League standings. 

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Christina Cornelius, Harvard (Sr., MB – Los Angeles, Calif.)

• Led the Crimson to a 2-0 weekend to improve to 2-3 in League play
• Hit .452, tallying 27.5 points on 23 kills, five blocks and a service ace
• Posted a match-high 12 kills and 14.5 points as Harvard handed reigning champion Princeton its first League loss of the season. 
• Added 15 digs and two assists on the weekend
• 1-of-2 Ivies to rank among the top six in the League in hitting percentage, blocks per set and points per set, alongside Columbia’s Chichi Ikwuazom

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Emily Teehan, Columbia (Fr., OH – Toronto, Ontario, Canada)

• Helped the Lions to a 1-1 weekend to move to 3-2 in League play 
• Hit .269, accumulating 38.5 points on 35 kills, three blocks and two service aces
• Registered 12 digs and four assists on the weekend
• Led Columbia in kills in both matches, including a career-high 20 in a four-set win over Brown
• Competed with the Canadian Junior National Team this summer, winning bronze at the 2018 USA Volleyball High Performance Championships
