PRINCETON, N.J. -- The Ivy League is home to 2-of-4 remaining FCS unbeatens—Princeton and Dartmouth—and also maintains an FCS-best .750 non-conference winning percentage after a 3-1 weekend in non-League play.
CO-OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Derek Kyler, Dartmouth (So., QB – DeKalb, Ill.)
- Threw for 221 yards and three touchdowns, completing 18-of-21 passes
- Rushed for 18 yards, averaging 8.5 yards per carry in a 37-14 win over Penn
- Led Dartmouth to its 700th victory in program history, sixth-most among FCS schools
- Connected on 75.3 percent of his passes (58-of-77) in his first three collegiate starts
- Is the first Big Green quarterback to complete at least 70 percent of his passes in three-straight games since 2014 (Dalyn Williams)
CO-OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
John Lovett, Princeton (Sr., QB – Wantagh, N.Y.)
- Threw for 135 yards and two touchdowns, completing 12-of-22 passes
- Rushed for a career-high 174 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 10.2 yards per carry
- Led Princeton to its second 3-0 start of the Bob Surace era (2015)
- Paces the FCS with 28.7 points responsible for per game
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
David Jones, Cornell (Jr., DB – Sugar Land, Texas)
- Intercepted a pair of passes in Cornell’s 43-24 rout of previously unbeaten Sacred Heart
- Returned his first interception 48 yards for a touchdown,
- Aforementioned pick-six was the first for Cornell student-athlete since 2011
- Ran his career interception total to six, including five in his last four games
- Registered a pair of tackles and a career-long 46-yard punt return
SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Will Allen, Columbia (So., DB – Pembroke Pines, Fla.)
- Posted a career-best 120 kickoff return yards in the losing effort against Princeton
- Returned the opening kickoff for a career-long 91 yards
- Aforementioned kickoff return was the eight-longest in program history
- Set up 1-of-2 Columbia scores in the 45-10 loss to Princeton
- Led the Lions with 120 all-purpose yards
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Connor Davis, Dartmouth (Fr., K – Ocala, Fla.)
- Went 1-for-2 on field goals and 4-for-5 on PATs in Dartmouth’s 37-14 victory over Penn
- Provided the final margin with a career-long 44-yard field goal, the longest by a Big Green kicker in seven seasons
- Scored a team-high seven points and owns a team-high 28 points on the year
- Recorded touchbacks on 4-of-7 kickoffs, averaging 57.0 yards per kickoff
