Trevor Rutledge-Leverenz joined the Ivy League office staff in October 2011 as an Interim Assistant Executive Director for Communications and Championships. He was named to that post on a permanent basis in May 2012.

Rutledge-Leverenz came to the Ivy League office after spending the past two and a half years as the Sports Information Director at Centenary College in Hackettstown, N.J., where he oversaw the coverage of 13 Division III athletic programs. Three of his 13 sports won conference championships in 2010-11, including the women’s soccer, wrestling and softball teams.

Before he joined Centenary, Rutledge-Leverenz worked in the Rutgers University Athletic Communications office for almost two years, where he was the primary contact for women’s soccer, wrestling, women’s lacrosse and women’s rowing, as well as serving as the secondary contact for men’s basketball. Rutledge-Leverenz was the media coordinator for the first and second rounds of the 2008 NCAA Division I Women’s Soccer Championship, hosted by Rutgers.

After graduating from Bucknell University in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in English and Spanish, Rutledge-Leverenz moved to the Bay Area where he worked for the Golden State Warriors and the Oakland Athletics. Beginning in 2002, he then spent six years as a sports radio producer, first for WFAN-AM and then for SIRIUS Satellite Radio in New York City.
Rutledge-Leverenz grew up in Gainesville, Fla.

He currently lives in Linden, N.J., with his wife, Shannon. He has been a member of CoSIDA since 2008.
