Steven Webster was hired as the Ivy League's Coordinator of Volleyball Officiating in April 2013.
In addition to working with the Ivy League, he also serves as the Supervisor of Volleyball Officials for the Patriot League.
Webster is well-known within the officiating ranks, having served for 30 years. A retired player, he has been a member of the Professional Association of Volleyball Officials (PAVO) since 1996, and has experience refereeing for a number of conferences including the Patriot League, Ivy League, Atlantic Coast Conference, Colonial Athletic Association, Atlantic 10 Conference, Big East Conference and America East Conference. In addition to officiating in several conference tournaments, Webster has also worked at the highest levels in NCAA Division I and III championship matches.
Besides his extensive experience within the collegiate ranks, Webster has been a member of USA Volleyball since 1997, and has officiated numerous events organized by the national body on the national, junior national and regional levels.
Webster has spent the last 16 years as the chair of officials for the New England Region Volleyball Association (NERVA), and has worked as the editor and developer of VolleyballRefTraining.com since 2008, where he has helped to create and edit training materials for officials on behalf of USA Volleyball.
