Rachel Schermick (Vogel) was named Assistant Executive Director, Communications & Championships in July 2022.
Schermick arrives at the Ivy League after spending four years as Director of Creative Content/Assistant Director of Athletic Communications at Hofstra University. She served as the primary media contact for the women’s soccer, women’s basketball and softball programs and oversaw all Hofstra Pride digital content.
Prior to Hofstra, she spent three years at the University of New Haven and one year at Maritime College and was as the primary contact for a variety of sports.
A 2015 graduate of DeSales University, Rachel graduated with a B.S. in Sport Management with a minor in Marketing and was a four-year member of the softball team. She went on to earn her master's degree in Sport Management with a concentration in Collegiate Athletic Administration from the University of New Haven in December 2016.
Rachel is a member of the College Sports Communicators (CSC) and Women Leaders in Sports. She lives in New Jersey with her husband Casey, their daughter, Anja and dog, Georgia.
