Alec Dominguez arrived at the Ivy League office in August 2022 after spending a year as the Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) Coordinator at West Virginia University. In his role, he assisted with the implementation and administration of the NIL program for WVU student-athletes in providing education and training to student-athletes using various NIL platforms.
Prior to West Virginia, Dominguez worked as an athletic director for St. Bonaventure School and taught classes on sports leadership to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders.
Additionally, Dominguez has been active in NCAA governance. He served on the NCAA Division I Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) from 2018-22. Along with serving on Division I SAAC, Dominguez has been a member of the Division 1 Competition Oversight Committee.
A 2019 graduate of Florida International University, Alec graduated with a B.S. in Sport Management and stayed to earn his master's degree in Sport Management in 2021. At FIU he was a 6-year member of the cross-country and track and field teams, serving as a captain for 5 years and became the first student-athlete to serve on a NCAA committee in school history.
