Andrea J Dutcher Trophy
The Ivy League Champion in Women's Volleyball
Dedicated in 1999
The Andrea J. Dutcher Ivy League Volleyball Trophy was dedicated in 1999 and named after the former Cornell volleyball coach. Dutcher took over the Big Red in 1974 and coached for 14 years, with the team posting a 346-158-7 record during that span. Dutcher led her squad to two more New York state titles before ushering in Ivy League play in 1986 — the first year for round robin competition in the league. She retired from coaching in 1988 after placing second in the Ivy League with the last of her eight consecutive 20-win seasons.
