The Lynn Jennings Trophy was donated by Friends of Princeton Track on May 27, 2000, to honor the tradition of excellence in Ivy League Track and Field and to commemorate Lynn’s dedication to the art of running.
Jennings was a standout runner at Princeton, graduating in 1983. Jennings went on to become on the most decorated American female runners in the world, winning 39 national titles, including three World Cross Country Championship Titles, an Olympics bronze medal, while setting records in the 8k, 10k and 12k.
