Beginning with the 1991-92 academic year, the Ivy League release a list of 80 student-athletes selected as Academic All-Ivy three times a year (fall, winter and spring seasons). Each school nominates 10 student-athletes (five men and five women) per season who were starters or key reserves on an officially recognized varsity team with 3.0 or better cumulative grade point averages.
