PRINCETON, N.J. – Three Ivy League teams earned berths into the 2025 NCAA Division I Men’s Lacrosse Championship as announced during tonight’s NCAA Selection Show. Cornell captured an automatic bid with the Ivy League Tournament title while Princeton and Harvard garnered an at-large bids.
The Big Red earned the No. 1 national seed and will host the winner of Siena and UAlbany in the first round at Schoellkopf Field on Sunday, May 11 at 7:30 p.m. Cornell had a dominant showing in the Ivy League tournament, scoring 41 goals across two games.
Princeton, the No. 3 national seed will host Towson, winners of the Coastal Athletic Association on Saturday, May 10 at 2:30 p.m. Princeton reached the Ivy League tournament final for the third-straight year in a row.
Harvard travels to ACC tournament champion Syracuse on Sunday, May 11 for a 5:00 p.m. matchup with No. 6 seed Syracuse. Earlier this season, Harvard defeated the Orange at the JMA Wireless Dome, 15-14.
All three teams enter the tournament in the national polls as Cornell ranks No. 1, Princeton is No. 2 and Harvard is No. 11 according to Inside Lacrosse.
